Petroleum Equipment & Services, Inc. (PESI) was founded in 1983 with a two-fold concept of service. Bring to the Alaska market place products and services not currently available and/or offer customers a competitive alternative to existing suppliers. Provide an economical solution to companies wanting to enter this unique market.
Petroleum Equipment & Services, Inc. is a broad based operation that has expanded its philosophy of service and marketing strategy to other areas.
PESI has also created an LLC named Alaska Service & Technology. ASTECH is a specialty company that offers an environmentally safe method of cleaning Thread-Protectors for the petroleum industry. As a result of these expanded representations and acquisitions
PESI has grown from an idea to a company with multi-million dollar annual sales. We have gone from a single small office to a state-of-the-art facility with 11,000 sq. ft. including 17 offices and warehouse space. We also have two satellite offices in Alaska one located on the North Slope and another in Kenai Alaska.
Through the years PESI has survived the economic swings of the petroleum industry and as a result the companies PESI represents have had continuous representation in Alaska.
While other companies have closed their operations and moved out, our companies maintained a presence and we are strategically in place for the inevitable upswing. After over 21 years our customers know they can count on us to be here for them.

We have three offices in Alaska at Prudhoe Bay, Kenai, and our main office in Anchorage.

Our HSE Statement
The President of Petroleum Equipment & Services, Inc. provides the resources and an effective policy statement that sets the culture for all personnel to follow.
PESI management recognizes its responsibility to provide its employees with safe working conditions, safe working rules and procedures based on experience and safety knowledge, and competent work practices.
Every employee is responsible for preventing accidents and injuries by observing established work rules, by following the direction of supervisors, by practicing the principles taught in safety training, and by providing ideas to strengthen our safety efforts.
The company policy is to adhere to all environmental rules and regulations as set forth by local, state, and federal authorities, and the Operators or the owners of the property where the work is performed.
Safety induction together with the corporate HS&E Philosophy and Policy Statements are given to all employees.
All accident, injury, near-miss reports are reviewed by senior management in order that action can be taken to prevent recurrence.
Management provides the resources and leadership, related education and training programs for health, safety, and environmental protection.
